08.30 Pick-up will be at Parque das Nações, where we'll embark on a journey to the enchanting village of Sintra. As we traverse through its winding streets, adorned with mystical palaces and lush gardens, you'll find yourself transported into a fairy tale realm. The first stop will be the breathtaking Pena Palace*, a masterpiece perched atop the Sintra Hills, renowned for its vibrant colors and romantic architecture. Built by King Ferdinand II, this palace is sure to ignite your imagination and sense of wonder.

Following the palace exploration, take some time to wander through the historic village streets, where you can indulge in the delicious and famous "pillow" cake known as Travesseiro.

For lunch, we'll treat ourselves to traditional Portuguese cuisine at a charming local restaurant. Afterward, we'll depart from Sintra for a scenic 30-minute drive to Cabo da Roca, where you can marvel at the stunning views from the westernmost point of continental Europe.

The journey continues to Cascais, once a humble fishing village transformed into a fashionable resort town in the 19th century. Stroll along its picturesque streets and soak in the coastal ambiance before we begin our return journey to Parque das Nações.

As we travel back along the "Marginal" road, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, pristine sandy beaches, and ancient 17th-century fortresses, concluding our day filled with magical sights and unforgettable experiences.

Full day Tour Lisbon, Belém

09.00 The journey begins by coach towards the iconic Belém Area. The first stop will be the Tower of Belém, a Lisbon landmark and UNESCO World Heritage Site. After admiring its historical significance, we'll take a short 5-minute walk to the modern Monument of the Discoveries, constructed in the 1950s to honour Prince Henry the Navigator.

Next, we'll cross through a tunnel, passing under the railway and road, to reach the gardens in front of the majestic Jerónimos Monastery, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have the opportunity to explore the church and cloisters, marvelling at their preserved beauty from the 16th century, untouched by the 1755 earthquake.

No visit to Belém is complete without indulging in the delightful "Pastel de Belém." Afterward, we'll head to a trendy restaurant in the Marina, offering scenic views of the river and the iconic "25 de Abril" Bridge, for a delicious lunch.

Following lunch, the journey continues to the Ajuda Palace, a huge structure initiated in 1796. Serving as the official residence of the Portuguese royal family from the reign of D. Luís I until the establishment of the Republic in 1910, it now stands as a museum preserving the authenticity of the 19th century.

As the day of exploration comes to an end, we'll make our way back to Parque das Nações, filled with memories of historical landmarks, delectable treats, and breathtaking views.

09.00 The journey begins with the departure by coach towards the Historical City center. The first stop will be one of the best viewpoints in the city, situated atop Eduardo VII’s Park, offering panoramic views of Lisbon's and Tagus River skyline.

We'll then embark on a drive along one of the main boulevards, Avenida da Liberdade. During the ride, our tour guide will provide insight into the ancient art of Azulejo, still visible on many Lisbon house façades. Originating from the Arabic word for "small stone," Azulejo tiles were initially crafted by the Moors in Andalusia, Spain, before spreading to Portuguese artisans in the 15th century. These artisans further refined the techniques of producing, painting, and glazing these distinctive tiles.

The next stop is the Tiles National Museum, housed within one of Lisbon's historic convents. This museum not only showcases the evolution of Azulejo art over the centuries but also delves into its history and various production techniques, including modern design and industrial methods.

Following the museum visit, we'll embark on an excellent cruise along the majestic Tagus River, where brunch will be served, allowing you to relax and soak in the scenic views.

As the cruise concludes, we'll return to Parque das Nações, enriched with newfound knowledge of Lisbon's art and history, and memories of a delightful river journey.

08.30 The journey begins with the departure by coach towards the picturesque Oeste region. The first destination is the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the most significant Christian sites, where you'll have the opportunity for reflection and exploration.

Continuing the tour, we'll head to the charming village of Nazaré for a lunch break. Nestled by the ocean and majestic surfing waves, this fishing village offers fresh grilled fish and breathtaking views, providing the perfect setting to rejuvenate for the remainder of our day.

The final stop takes us to the medieval town of Óbidos*. Stepping foot into this enchanting town feels like a journey through time, with its ancient whitewashed houses nestled within castle walls. You'll have the chance to explore its cobblestone streets on foot, immersing yourself in its rich history and perhaps ascending the ramparts for a magnificent view.

As the day draws to a close, we'll make our way back, filled with memories of spiritual reverence, coastal delights, and the medieval charm of Óbidos. The return journey will conclude at Parque das Nações, marking the end of our unforgettable adventure.
